i disagree. Pageau could be an amazing 4th center for us while he develops, put Neil on one side on Noesen on the other.
its a gritty line with speed that can score.
Part of the problem with the smith line in the playoffs is that they couldnt get in on the forecheck often enough.

Eventually you can move him up the lineup or get him more icetime etc.
When Spezza hangs them up we'll be glad we have Turris, Zibanejad and Pageau.

Just because a guy has skill doesnt preclude him from being something other than a top2 center for awhile.
in fact it makes the team deeper and stronger, harder to defend.
