Anyway, I don't blame Slats for this one. Torts' job is to get the most out of the players. If Sather had done a crappy job building the team, then it's on him, but I don't think anyone can sit here and say that was the case. We were 1st in the East last year - shows you what Torts can, and should have been able to do this year. But the PP sucked, and players tuned him out. And it's not like we always gave our best effort this year, unlike last year where there were a handful of games all year where we didn't play hard. That's also on the coach. So yea, this had to be done.

You could ALMOST replace Torts in this post (and in a good portion of this thread) with Renney and everyone would think it's 2009 again. The 1st in the east would be a dead giveaway here but the rest is spot on... especially the bolded lol.
