It does make you think. I mean, since their last World Series victory in 2000, they've still made the playoffs every year as a dominant regular season team with the league's highest payroll, yet no more championships. And what are the constants throughout those years? Mariano, Jeter, Bernie, Posada. And TORRE. I think it's time for a big shakeup in the Bronx, starting with the manager. I'm not saying trade Jeter or Rivera, but I think there are a lot of guys on that Yankees team who are there more for the money than for the chance to win a World Series.
