I've never seen a player get a penalty for doing something to their own team.


And frankly I don't think it would happen; mentally, players need to forget alliances when they play. In fact usually Olympic players are harder on their NHL team mates when they have to play against them. So no Mike Richards is not thinking of Quick as his team mate if they play each other in the Olympics.
