Claude Julien disagrees... protecting the 1 goal lead to win the series last night, Jagr was on the ice for 3 shifts in the last 5 minutes, all against Crosby. Peverley, Kelly and Seguin were all available, but barely played at the end of the game.

I agree that Jagr's skating has deteriorated. But he's still great at protecting the puck, has quick hands and makes smart plays. He produced offence with Dallas and has been generating shots with Boston (45 in the playoffs, 3 per game). I bet he gets a goal or two in the finals.
