That might be the worse proposal I have ever seen.

The 7th overall + Hartikinen is fair value.

Justin Schultz is a ridiculous addition that makes it a horrible overpayment.

It wouldn't be a deal for a signed Letang anyways, as Letang cant sign a contract until after the 2013 draft.

Absolutley ridiculous. Your evaluation of Letang is simply terrible. He's a UFA to be asking for 7M+. Sure he's a Top 10 Dman in the NHL today. But he's also a UFA in 1 year, and the Penguins likely will not be resigning him. His value isn't anywhere close to what you think it is.
