Niklas Hansson-Swedish offensive D -

from REDLINE REPORT - Hansson came out of nowhere and developed into one of the best finesse, offensive defensemen over the second half of the season. At a slightly built 6-0, 173 pounds, he lacks strength, but his puckhandling confidence and development curves appear to be headed straight upward. He shows great vision and patience handling the puck, always skating with his head up looking to make plays, and usually makes very good decisions in puck movement. He has the speed to take the puck end-to-end, and is also terrific quarterbacking the power play.


I've been reading some good things about Hanson. We need a PP quarterback. Would be a great pick in the 3rd or 4th if he lasts that long.

Ola or BBKers, have you seen this guy play or do you have any info on him? Much appreciated.

He's a right handed shot and this kid can skate. A bit thin but he should fill out. The next Erik Karlsson?
