We all agree that either Lou or Schneider will not be a Nuck next season.

All but a small number of delusional Nuck fans agree that Lou's age, contract and performance last season have negatively impacted his trade value. Additionally, it seems likely that a goodly number of vet goalie's will be available in the off season whether by trade (ex. Miller), UFA (ex. Smith) or potentially buy-out (Bryz).

In light of the foregoing, I would suggest that, if Lou is waived, that the odds are that he will not be claimed. The reason is simple. His contract greatly exceeds the market's current perception of his value.

With 20-20 hindsight, Gillis erred by not trading Lou during the off season in 2012.
