AND the big kicker that nobody mentions is with the awful realignment, if you slump at all and don't finish in the top 3 of your uber division, you're not fighting 4-15 for five playoff spots, you're now fighting with 6-16 for TWO playoff spots.

A 5th place team could have more points than the 2nd, 3rd, 4th place team in the other division and not make the playoffs.
Right, I almost forgot about the NHL moving to the dumbest playoff system in pro sports. Now I'm depressed
