Conner is a classic top six or bust guy because of his size and he just cannot overcome it when he steps up a level. Glendening in particular has a very strong lower body, long-term he is a more attractive option at the next level and probably is today for the roles both would be asked to play. Conner is also coming off his worst year in a while at the AHL level.
