One player was lost to retirement for the Habs this year. Francis Bouillon was a defensive defenseman who turned 37 and went undrafted after captaining his Granby Predateurs to the 1996 Memorial Cup.
Bouillon spent just over 3 years with the Nashville Predators, and played within the Canadiens organization for 10 seasons in two separate stints.
