He took a pretty friendly deal the last time by resigning earlier then he had too.
I wouldn't blame him for maximizing his money this time around.
That's what makes me think he'll try to cash in big with this contract.
Then again, he could take another "home town discount" again.
I just have a hard time seeing a player with his caliber and potential taking/getting anything less than 8M/yr especially under this new CBA.
