Gorton almost single handedly made the Bruins of today in a VERY short period of time. He drafted Kessel, Lucic, and Marchand, signed Chara and Savard, and traded a scrub in Raycroft for Rask... all in ONE year!!!!

I believe Gorton worked his magic with the Gaborik for Brassard, Moore, and Dorsett trade too when Sather was ill, no?

Outrageous that this guy is not the GM right now.
im worried that if another GM gets fired soon and Gorton gets some consideration to replace that GM before NYR has the chance to replace Sather.. i can see that happening... i dont think Sather will retire or step down... i bet he will stay as Rangers GM until he passes away..
