D'Amigo and Holzer are two potential depth players that I could see Eakins wanting.

D'Amigo will have a hard time cracking the Leafs roster as long as Carlyle is the coach. He isn't good enough to jump into a top 9 spot, doesn't play center and with Carlyle insisting on having two fights on the wing on his 4th a lot of the time I believe he'll need to move to another team to get his shot in the NHL.

Holzer has played his best under Eakins but struggled a lot under Carlyle. Eakins might feel he can better utilize him then the Leafs could. Holzer could be a good depth dman for the Oilers at the right cost.

Picks or other prospects is what the Leafs would expect in return.
