The only way it addresses both team's needs is if Colborne is used in a move up scenario to acquire a Center the Leafs like and the Oilers use their pick to move down and get an NHL ready center with size to augment their young and tiny forward group yet still get a good prospect in this deep draft.

So my guess is that a potential draft day trade including our 21st overall + Colborne (and maybe something else like a D man) for the Edmonton 7th.

Just my guess though. I don't see edmonton wanting to hang on to a 7th overall pick as it won't help them for 2-4 years. They have so many high picks already that they need to augment their team with NHL ready players int he right age group otherwise they'll continue to stagnate.

Just my opinion though.
