Because some can't understand or simply turn a blind eye to the financial implication of the game doesn't make Bergevin's decision a bad one.
The financial implications are one of the reasons people think it was a bad idea. We ended up with over 3m in unused cap space last season so so far the cap space we've saved has dione nothing so far.
