I seem to remember a trade on the Trade/FA Forum that a couple of Philly fans said was OK - Miller + 2nd? for Coburn
Sign Briere to help develop our centers; re-unite with Leino and use Ott as our Hartnell to complete the line.
Draft both picks #8 and #16; possibly use our other 2nd to move up from 16 to get Horvat.
Let's see what we have in the system, give the youngsters another year to grow (or get acclimated - namely Armia), then start trading futures away next year to push the team to the next level (and convince Vanek to re-sign). Even though the landscape will change with other re-signings, I think the UFA crop next year will be better too.
I think the only question mark here will be Tropp's health by the time training camp starts.
