I really don't think there's 'another step' for Hansen to take at this point. But i'd expect he'll become an instant favourite of Torts and play an awful may even become frustrated watching Hansen play more than he probably should.

I think Booth is the guy who stands to benefit the most from Torts. His skillset meshes really well with Tortorella's 'no plan through through the neutral zone' strategy and the 'heavy forecheck' he's going to want to see. And i think defensively, Booth will be a much better fit as a shot blocking automaton type cog in the 6 goalie system, as opposed to more of a 'thinking man's defensive game' under AV, preaching containment and more complicated assignments where Booth's defensive IQ deficit was badly exposed.. That is...if Torts can turn Booth into a serviceable shot blocker.
