Morin could very well fall flat on his face and never make it beyond a #6 or #7 defenseman. That's the risk you take, but I'd rather that happen, knowing he could be a top pairing defenseman, than take a guy at #11 overall, in one of the deepest drafts in history, that has mid-pairing upside.
And whether Nolet is apart of the organization or not, they still keep good tabs on the league.
I don't understand how you can say Morin has top pairing potential over Pulock when Pulock has a heck of a lot more skill.
Nolet is still a part of the organization. He just isn't the main QMJHL scout any longer.
