Anyway, I doubt Huet can come back to last year's form, he's decent right now, but is somewhat slow, and in the last games, I saw a glaring weak point, his glove hand... I have more faith in Abby right now, he's more aggressive.
And damn, where do I sign ?? Kovalev, well, he's not Mr. Intensity, when he wants to play he's elite, but he don't want often... and while skill wise, I think he's more talented than Gagne, Gagne skates faster and is decent defensively when having trouble scoring.
Esche would be the backup...
It seems Kovalev is invisible. The reality is, he is always on top of opposing team's "mark man" list. He does not have a lot of space to work with. Every game the opposing teams are sending out top checker to play again Kovalev. Without Kovalev, Koivu will be the next mark man and he won't be as effective without Kovalev taking away the top checker!
I am OK with Kovalev. All Russian are slow starters. Markov.. everytime u have him on ur pool, he'll get 5 points in first 20 games, when u drop him, he'll pile up points.
It's reality. Be patient, sit back and wait
