I'll safely assume that we aren't going to be as offensively anemic as we were for most of last season. Do we need more offensive punch? Yes. Are we as bad as the numbers last year indicated? I don't think so. We'll have plenty of games where we score 4 or 5 goals, just like there will be plenty of games where we give up 4 or 5. Our key is to just play solid, night in and night out. With a defensive foundation, I think we're much more likely to do that, than if we were an offensively-based team. Don't forget that Jones also brings help offensively too and will likely help the power play quite a bit.
