Well you do have to take into the era. Pelle Lindberg won the Vezina in 1984-1985 with an .899 save % and that was the 2nd best save % in the NHL. That was in the crazy scoring era. Gretzky was in the middle of his 3 straight 200+ point seasons.

No goalie in the 80s qualified with a save % of .920 or better
It's not until 1993-94 when you have Hasek .9298 and Vanbiesbrouck(.9242)

Then 96-97 Hasek/Hackett/Brodeur/Roy
97-98 Hasek/Barasso/Kidd
98-99 Hasek + 6 others
2000's the NHL gets even more defensive oriented and now you see guys .930/.940 whatever.

So really when you're talking about .920 it's basically the last 15/16 years. Which happens to be the bleakest period of goaltending in Flyers history.
