I don't have a problem with trading of the picks. They clearly had some players on their radar they just needed some additional picks to make things happen. Slepyshev would have been a decent pick at 37 anyways so don't have a problem with it. That Schneider trade on the other hand would have been ugly. The diffence in the 7th pick to the 9 alone is equivalent to a late second rounder, then to add in another second and top would have been ugly. Good call Mac T.
