Not really. He is incredibly green and you can see it game in, game out. Most games his screw ups generally don't lead to goals, so they aren't as glaring. This isn't to say he has been HORRIBLE or anything and he has certainly played well for expectations but that hardly constitutes him being an NHL defenseman at this point of his career.

The fact is, most 20 year old defenseman are not NHL calibre hockey players and Gleason is really no exception. In an ideal world, he's in Manchester paired with Grebeshkov. (although, of course, Grebs is injured )
