Grabo+JT would not be good. They are both F2's and it won't help the point totals of either; they steal points from each other. You want Grabo playing beside an F3, Marleau, Couture, Pavs. Any decent F3 would enhance his numbers.
I think he would be perfect with Marleau and Couture on the line. That line could go power-to-power or against top shut-down pairs. All 3 are good defensively, and Marleau and Couture are top-notch shooters. Grabo is good as F2 set-up from what little I remember of him in the past, and he's decently fast (a bit above average IIRR).

Marleau - Couture - Grabo
Burns - JT - Pavelski
Torres - Sheppard/Hertl - Kennedy
Sheppard / Burish - Desjardins - Wingels

But even at $2 mil they might have to move someone to make room, given that Kennedy still hasn't signed and is going to want $2 mil minimum.
