CPR for Tommies

I think STU needs to offer some perks to grow the fan base. If one only looks at pro teams to see what happens when the home team is good vs bad. Once fans leave, it is hard to coax them back in a small town. What types of perks you ask? Something like buy one ticket, get one free for the game; A package of 5 tickets for the for any season games for the price of 3; Seniors and kids get in free; I believe if STU can spend 1.3 million on the rink, then a few dollars to get in some extra fans won't break the bank. In most of the examples above, it won't cost money to let people in who will add to the concession profit. Rebuilding for another three years won't add to a fan base. Most people are, either loyal forever to their team, or want to see a good hockey game. Some are both, but bottom line CIS hockey is our pro league in the city....you figure it out.
