For me it is the difference in ceiling.

I see Sheahan as a surefire NHLer, which is a bonus, but I don't see him being a regular top 6 forward, unless used to spread out the line up, much like Abdelkader has been used this past year.

Sheahan has the physical tools to be a bottom 6 forward for the rest of his career, so he has that going for him, plus he has played some pro hockey already.

Frk has the talent level to hold his own on a 1st or 2nd line in the NHL. He has that next level of talent that guys like Sheahan don't have. But it remains to be seen if he can hang in pro hockey (I have no doubt he can be a 1st line forward in the AHL for the rest of his career, but the NHL is another story).

So basically Frk's ceiling > Sheahan's ceiling, IMO, and that is why I voted that way.
