It is worth to notice that the players can save max. 50% / 100 k to a retirement fund. No tax is paid for that part in that year, and therefore it is not shown in these numbers. AFAIK there is no public data on whether a player has done that or not. Considering the progressive income tax in Finland, it is certainly wise in most cases to do this if possible.

Another thing is that these numbers are annual and not by hockey season, so for example these 2011 number include some salary from both 10-11 and 11-12 seasons. So, in case a player transfer to or from Frinland that year, the salary is only for the Fall/Spring months.
