I agree. There are "good penalties" and "bad penalties" in hockey - which I'm sure a lot of the posters on this board who have played hockey to a decent level would agree.

Hooking/tripping penalties are generally last resort penalties. If you're committing a lot of them, chances are you can't play hockey anymore at the level you are attempting to.
