You're right, for some reason I thought he'd resigned w/ the Barons at the same time we signed Stretch.

I think that leaves us with a hole at 3/4 center (VV's old job) and at least one quality AHL defenseman. Would like to see one more quality AHL winger (I don't think Kessey or Ewanyk are anywhere near ready for this level, but they'll probably both get a shot).

He'll be a very useful player for you guys. He's got a ton of skill and a little edge to his game that I think will really look good on your 2nd line, plus he has a managable cap number and is still young. If he stays healthy it wouldn't surprise me at all for him to get 25/60 next year.

I'm pretty happy with MPS on the Blues, I think he fits Hitch's system better than Perron did and he has some upside that I think we can help him tap into.
