Iginla bonus penalty
1.3 million dollar penalty, thats not to bad.
If we kept Bart over Krug then the Penalty would be like 150K but no way Krug does not get NHL games next year.
Emergency basis recalls will prevent us from going over that 1.3 penalty if we have an injury.
It is a little tight but hey it works, this team will not need a deadline deal anyway.
The problem with this lineup is you have no extras. Realistically the team will carry at least 1 extra forward and 1 extra D throughout the season. Even if they don't dress, they count against the cap. Add Bartkowski and someone like Caron to your lineup for a more realistic number. It may seem like splitting hairs, but that's almost another 2 million added to this year's cap, which pushes that bonus penalty up next year.
