I know and my point was that the players aren't similar but their situations are in terms of where they are in their development. It's a matter of opinion, which is why we have this poll, but to me (and others obviously) I just don't see enough in Dumont's game to be able to say that he'll crack a 3rd line on a regular basis. Engqvist was seen as a potential 3rd, 4th liner. He's doing very well in the KHL and did very well in the AHL. He just couldn't cut it as an NHLer. Again, I wasn't comparing the 2 players, I like Dumont more as an NHLer, but you're wrong if you think Engqvist was a plug from day 1 and was never seen as having some NHL upside.
