In regards to the actual topic of destruction err ah I mean discussion I believe that if Philly was in the market for a goalie that the Sabres would be one of the most likely candidates for them to consider. The proposal in question does not work for either team as it does not fill or eleviate any needs. Buffalo needs a crease clearing young defender preferrably in the teams age bracket or a center that would be on the number one line. They need offense. Gagne is a premier offensive, young winger who would be an upgrade over some of Buffalo's wingers but it adds to their problem of having to many wingers and only 4 top 2 line places. IMO Gagne is one of my favourite players but there is no chance that he is as magnified in skill as blah pointed out earlier. Philly has a problem of having too many centers, adding another top two line center does not help whatsoever. Drury can play wing but his natural position is center. The proposal simply does not work, end it at that
