Also the Habs are in the Atlantic now? Does the NHL not realize that if you go with non-geographical division names you don't have to try to explain the alignments as much. Dumb name for our division, to be sure.
The "Metropolitan" Division should continue as the Atlantic and the Habs' division be the Central Division. The Midwest and Pacific Divisions would comprise the Western Conference.
But that might make too much sense in Gary Bettman's NHL.
