I'd disagree as a Flames fan
1. Ownership doesnt seem to want to pay players not to contribute to the Flames (Bouw, Kotalik)
2. If we're trying to sell Cammy for a 1st at the deadline it's not because he easily worth a 1st; it's because we're trying to catch a team that's desperate. Right now in the off season his value isn't that high for team (which is why we aren't getting any offers)

All that said I'm not going to be sad if Squid stays he's got a lot of drive which is great no matter where you finish.
