First image: The Nashville Predators (or representative image) Captioned –“No Goals? We’ve Got Goals!”

Second image: Player.

Third Image: “My 2013-2014 Goals” followed with players personal goals – which can go in whatever direction you want. I’m not sure how much text you can get on an avatar page.

Examples I thought of:

Weber
1. Win Norris Trophy (crossed out - couldn't figure out how to do it here)
Still in Nashville, hmmm . . .
1. Complete Norris Trophy runner-up hat trick

Clune
1. No bad words 99.9% of the time. (stealing from his twitter)

Filip Forsberg
1. Graduate from high school (add check mark)
2. Pass driver’s test

Mattias Ekholm
1. Don’t be “absolutely horrible”

Obviously, the overall idea is their idea of “goals” isn’t even “the goals” we want more of. While also getting to have fun with the “My goals” list. Like PredsV82 said about one of his earlier ideas - it might take time because of the personalizing, but the season is still a bit far off.
If you guys don't take this concept, I'm stealing it for the Jackets. This is brilliant.

Text limitations may restrict it to one listed "goal" each. With the possibility for more if you can get sponsor-sized avatars (150x150 instead of 125x125 if you're a HFBoards sponsor).

Also, I think it'd work best with the player image being first (followed by the list of goals, then having "no goals? we've got goals!" as a punchline third image) - and try to get player images that have them looking pensive or thoughtful.
