That is very true, but here's the thing Lee's value increases as you get closer to the deadline. The reason being the Orioles, Yankees, and Rangers could all use starting pitching help. The market for ace starting pitchers is always a seller's market.So while it would be a "hell no" from Boston in off season, right now it might be a "damn it, fine."

Al Morganti also brought up an idea today, Lee, Young, and Asche for Bogaerts+. Not a bad idea with both Franco and Bogaerts capable of playing 3rd.
