Here are the packages Pronger has returned in his career:

1. Anaheim Ducks traded Chris Pronger and Ryan Dingle to the Philadelphia Flyers for Joffrey Lupul, Luca Sbisa, a 1st round selection in 2009, a 1st round selection in 2010 and a conditional round selection in 2010 or 2011.

2. Edmonton Oilers traded Chris Pronger to the Anaheim Ducks for Joffrey Lupul, Ladislav Smid, a 1st round selection in 2007, a conditional 1st round selection and a 2nd round selection in 2008.

3. St. Louis Blues traded Chris Pronger to the Edmonton Oilers for Eric Brewer, Jeff Woywitka and Doug Lynch.

4. St. Louis Blues traded Brendan Shanahan to the Hartford Whalers from Chris Pronger.

So the equivalent of those would be:

4. Taylor Hall for Alex Pietrangelo

3. Justin Schultz/Jeff Petry, Oscar Klefbom and Darnell Nurse

2. Jordan Eberle/Nail Yakupov, Darnell Nurse/Oscar Klefbom, 1st round pick in 2014, 2nd round pick, conditional 1st round pick

1. I don't really consider this accurate because this trade was made with Pronger on the slight decline, but it'd be something like David Perron, Martin Marincin, 2 first round picks and a conditional pick.
A key difference between the two situations is Pronger was a Hart trophy winner and I believe he also single handedly dragged his team to the western conf. finals in the early 2000s. What's has Pietrangelo accomplished?
