We needed a Galchenyuk more than a Yakupov. And I think Yak will be a great player, not underrating him at all but I'd be shocked if Nail became the better player out of the 2.

Galchenyuk is younger, less junior experience which just means he has more room to grow IMO. I don't mind Yakupov's theatrics at all but I still like Galchenyuk's demeanor better. If AG really kicks up his first step acceleration then he'll be just ridiculous.

Galchenyuk's size, hands, defensive acumen and the fact he can play both center and the wing is what ultimately puts him on top IMO.
