Is Taylor one of the best 3 GM's? Not yet. The fact is the Kings have accomplished NOTHING under Taylor's tenure. Yes, injuries and bad luck have played a role in this. Yes, the Kings are in a better position now than they were prior to hiring Taylor. Yes, the Kings have one of the better groups of prospects in the league.

However, that does not make Taylor a top-3 GM. I have no doubt that Taylor has the potential to become a top-3 GM in the league (it is readily apparent that Taylor is one of the better minds in hockey right now) but until the Kings start consistently winning as a franchise like the Devils do, Taylor cannot be considered one of the best GM's hockey.

Success speaks volumes. And the Kings are sorely lacking in that department right now.
