I love Markov, but I figure it might be time to "pass the torch". He will be 35 in December, has a bad knee and has slowed down considerably. I do want Markov to retire as a Hab though, so if he doesn't plan on retiring, or going back to Russia to play a few more years in his home land, I'd keep him and sign him to a very short term (1-2 year), trade Diaz (cause he is worth his fair share IMO).
I voted for Diaz, and ideally Markov retires. Sign Diaz to a 3 year deal averaging 2.75-3 if he has a good season, keep developing Beaulieu into a PP monster over that period of time. That way you save a little money to get an extra big presence or something of the sort, while having 3 very capable puck movers/offensive Ds in Diaz, PK and Beaulieu.
I would be very comfortable having Subban-Gorges, Emelin-Diaz, Tinordi-Beaulieu as my top 6 going forward. you put Subban-Diaz as first PP pair and Beaulieu-Emelin as second
