Del Zotto finished with the most points for Rangers d-men last year. He was 34th in NHL d-men scoring. A number of those d-men were under 25--Subban, Justin Schultz, Voynov, Pietrangelo, Ekman-Larsson, Shattenkirk, Doughty, Carlson--and then there's Erik Karlsson who would probably have been top dog if it weren't for Matt Cooke slicing his achilles. IMO if Del Zotto improves his production the Rangers pwp is going to be a lot better. If he stays the same don't expect the pwp to improve much. Compared to the above mentioned d-men I'd pretty much take any of them over Del Zotto. I just think they're better players. Del Zotto needs to take another step to start equaling some of them--guys like Subban, Pietrangelo, Doughty, Erik Karlsson pretty much unreachable.
