Had this real bad last year when I started playing, still have it a little bit. Went to my doctor who also plays, and he suggested several things. The first was one of those little tennis elbow bands during games, then ice it after the game. He also told me to get a lighter stick (was playing with a very cheap composite that weighed a ton) cut even with my collarbone while on skates. The third was a series of stretches. In the end it helped but didn't eliminate it, and a month later he injected the tendons and that really helped it settle down enough that the other fixes were able to keep it under control.

I still feel it a little bit after I play, but no more hot knives every time I reach out my arm.
