That's all well and good, but for the Red Wings guys, 5,014 games were played for the Red Wings, or 80.2%. For the Flyers, the number is 3,564 or 54.1%. A huge part of drafting and grooming talent is being able to identify it as a young talent that needs time, and having the patience to give them the time and blossom as great players for your team. A number of guys on that list for the Flyers are very good players playing for other teams that didn't offer much to the Flyers, specifically Sharp, Seidenberg, Williams, and Downie. Fleischmann is really the only one you could say that for on the Detroit list.
