My theory is that any player who plays in the CHL, that does NOT sign a pro contract, should maintain their college eligibility.

There are of course a lot of issues that people will find with this theory.

You have to realize that the NCAA is a money making organization, and they make most of their profit with Football and Basketball. Hockey isn't their main concern, so they won't make a rule to benefit the good of the game for hockey if it could hurt them in either basketball or football.
