Agreed. I've seen posts here at HF saying Gretzky and Lemieux couldn't compete in the post-2006 NHL. I doubt players who played against them and retired after Lemieux would agree with this theory. If someone has quotes from guys such as
Hasek, Lidstrom, Jagr, Sakic, Brodeur, Chelios, Forsberg,
etc. proving me wrong I'd love to see them.
