He was looking pretty good for Tampa before going on a mysterious hiatus from the NHL (I won't speculate). Good for 30 points and solid both ways. Came back after his hiatus (began at the beginging of the 2009-10 season) and was very solid for the Marlies last season. From what I've read he was arguably one of the top players in the American league last year. Still just 28 he's in his prime. Does that mean he'll be a top pairing defenceman for the Leafs? I doubt it. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the second pairing and have a solid season while he's at it.
