Avangard looked very strong during the first 15 minutes and really earned their lead with hard work. Then Tikhonov scored out of the blue and made it 1-1 before three fast goals in the second period decided everythng for SKA. Off course Avangard had a couple of chances here and there but even in multiple power plays they were not able to really get Nalimov into trouble anymore. I have to say that SKA lacked a little discipline. Other teams would have easily punished them for all the stupid penalties. In the last 20 minutes it was just like a training session with SKA not doing more than they had to.

I am a bit disappointed of Kovys debut. He had some great passes here and there that could have been goals but he stayed without a point and also had a huge chance where he appeared 1 metre alone in front of Lassila. A must score goal. Both first lines (defense and attack) of SKA looked just great! Especially Tikhonov, Martensson and Dallman. Just my 2 cents.
