My ? is if it is clear there is no subterfuge, like a 'bruise' which might or might not be severe to = legit serious, if he's torn labrum out, yeah Sanchez gets paid, whether direct or insurance I don't care; but my ? is if he is LTIR or equivalent, can they get cap relief, and if so how much?

I'm not suggesting adding a QB (though if Vince Young were available cheap he'd be an option as HB, whether he wants THAT or not).

What this team needs is at least 1 stud defender and 2 legit OL.
If Sanchez' cap hit = exemption, that would help. Big time. This season.
