Last season (even if shortened) he only scored 7 goals, and he did had long stretches without any goals.
More nuanced. And I could get on board with the amount goal being the next step.

Still the problem with holding his draft position against him is draft positions is a A) a qualified crap shot. Not a guarentee. And B) different draft years have different quality.

Had he been a 3rd rounder everything would be in the finest order. Looking at just Boedker there's no worries. But the draft position or everyone expectation seems to be dragging him down.
